Rock Band Boot Camp
Not your average summer camp!
Rock Band Boot Camp is a rock day camp for everyone (grades 6 - 12)
who plays guitar, bass or drums. This week of rock knows no peer.
Students spend their mornings in study on their various instruments.
Late morning we'll have workshops where we'll learn about show
production, instrument maintenance, band promotion and song writing.
Afternoons will be spent in band practice. Bands will be overseen by
qualified instructors who will guide each band to achievement of
their potential.
On the last day of camp we'll put on a big Rock-n-Roll show for
parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, strangers we pick up on
rural highways, etc.
Here's the really thing we do-
Throughout the week we'll be shooting video for a documentary of the
week of boot camp. The DVD will feature the interviews with students
and teachers, candid shots and, of course the final concert. Every
camper gets a DVD.
